Quick Look – Google Compute Engine

Here’s a quick look at Google Compute Engine.  What’s GCE?  It’s Google’s cloud-based VMs (their version of AWS EC2 instances).  This service is still in limited preview, but you can request access.  What’s most interesting about this service is that it’s running on Google’s infrastructure and Google is making some bold statements about GCE performance.  Competition is good for us (the consumers) and everyone is watching this contest.
